Depth issues will receive early tests for ailing Tar Heels

Entering this season, North Carolina men's basketball coach Roy Williams said his team's depth and ability to turn up the tempo had the possibility of wearing down opponents. With his top-ranked Tar Heels opening their season against visiting Pennsylvania today, with as many as four senior contributors out of action, Williams' vision of a deep, fast team might not yet be reality.
