Tar Heels weather physical battle, pull away to end 3-game skid vs. Pitt
Posted Jan 2, 2024
It wasn’t pretty, but UNC took control in the second half with a workmanlike effort for a 70-57 victory Tuesday in Pittsburgh to end a three-game skid against the Panthers. Armando Bacot scored 10 of his 16 points in the second half, adding 10 rebounds for another double-double, to become the seventh Tar Heel in program history to score 2,000 points.
