Rick Duckett - former UNC hoops manager, junior varsity coach, and Winston-Salem State coach - dies


, one of the best basketball coaches in Winston-Salem State history, has died. Duckett, who also spent seven seasons at South Carolina working under Dave Odom, led the Rams for three seasons and won two CIAA titles in 1999 and 2000. Duckett went to North Carolina and wound up being a team manager for North Carolina for Coach . (Winston-Salem Journal)
