Jordan-sponsored UNC extracted 5-star guard Ian Jackson from the adidas 3SSB circuit in the 2024 basketball recruiting class, and the Tar Heels feel they have a chance to repeat such a feat with 5-star shooting guard Darryn Peterson, as coach Hubert Davis is heading up the recruitment, himself. Meanwhile, Kentucky has prioritized Peterson to the same degree.
