Heels headed toward QB decision, but won't announce it
Posted Nov 19, 2008
North Carolina coach Butch Davis said quarterback T.J. Yates and Cameron Sexton split time in practice on Tuesday, but he didn’t anticipate that being the case in Wednesday afternoon’s practice. However, Davis refused to say which quarterback will get the most time in this practice. Asked directly when he will announce a starter, Davis said, “Probably not until Saturday.” Carolina plays at home against N.C. State on Saturday at noon.
