North Carolina packed plenty of punch in Round 1 of the rivalry with Duke on Saturday, and went about hammering out the latest evidence that a special season could be in the works. The No. 3 Tar Heels decked the No. 7 Blue Devils 93-84, behind the strength of Harrison Ingram and Armando Bacot, whose performances picked up the slack for R.J. Davis.
