Tar Heel Softball Caps Off 4-0 Opening Weekend With Two Victories Saturday


The North Carolina softball team capped off a 4-0 opening weekend with back-to-back victories against NC A&T and Winthrop on Saturday. In game one against the Aggies, a 13-3 victory, Carolina's bats came out scorching, plating a weekend-best 13 runs on 15 hits. Lexi Godwin set a new career-best with five RBIs and hit her first home run since 2020. (GoHeels.com)
