Ian Jackson named a semifinalist for Naismith Player of the Year

As of this week's announcement, Our Saviour Lutheran (N.Y.) five-star guard and North Carolina signee is among the 10 Naismith Boys' High School Player of the Year Semifinalists. Since its inception in 1987, the Naismith has only once gone to a future North Carolina basketball talent: Latta (S.C.) five-star guard in 2002. (All Tar Heels)
