Transfer portal primer 2024: The needs of every top college basketball program

Cormac Ryan is for sure gone and R.J. Davis could opt to chase his professional dreams, so UNC likely will need to hit the transfer portal for an experienced guard who can shoot the cover off it and add age to a young backcourt. Armando Bacot is gone, but UNC will have to consider the consequences of its actions if it chases a big-name frontcourt transfer.
