Hansbrough Returns in UNC Victory
Posted Nov 22, 2008
Tyler Hansbrough didn’t know if he would be playing on Friday until Roy Williams approached him with 15 minutes remaining in pregame warmups. But it was only fitting for the senior to make his return at the Thunderdome, providing valuable minutes in No. 1 North Carolina’s 84-67 victory over UC Santa Barbara. Williams indicated that the reigning national player of the year had practiced several days in a row, getting in a maximum of 25 minutes during each session.
