UNC: Max Johnson (In), Diego Pounds (Out). QB Max Johnson is expected to start after Drake Maye declared for the NFL Draft. Johnson was a backup in 2022 and 2023 at Texas A&M but threw for 2,815 yards and 27 touchdowns with six interceptions in 2021 at LSU. Diego Pounds started eight games at left tackle and will play for Ole Miss next season.
