North Carolina is number five overall and a top two seed in the NCAA Tournament Selection Committee’s top-16 bracket projection. The ACC will stay at 20 league basketball games and just 15 teams in the ACC Tournament next season. And a working group is exploring renovating the Smith Center or building a new arena.
