UNC Softball Picks Up Pair Of Wins On First Day Of Carolina Classic


UNC Softball improved to 8-1 Friday with a pair of run-rule victories on the first day of the Carolina Classic. The Tar Heels opened the doubleheader with a five-inning 12-4 win over Lipscomb, before capping off the day with a six-inning 9-1 victory over George Washington. UNC bats were blazing, with the Tar Heels outhitting their two opponents .538 to .125. (GoHeels.com)
