UNC Softball Lands Maryland Transfer Pitcher Brianna Godfrey

UNC Softball has landed a commitment from Maryland transfer pitcher Brianna Godfrey. Godfrey posted six wins with 48 strikeouts in 2025 but missed the entire 2026 season due to injury. Godfrey's college career has come full circle after beginning her college career at Marshall, where she played for now-UNC Softball head coach Megan Smith Lyon. (Brianna Godfrey)
