Julius Peppers is not always an easy man to reach, or to pin down to a specific date. Friends and former co-workers know that if they call, he's probably not answering, and if they text, he might hit them back in a couple of weeks. That's who he is; they love him for his consistency. It does, however, make him hard to plot against, and harder to surprise.
