For UNC, finding ways to win tightly contested games like Saturday is part of the formula for extending its season after next week. "I feel like that’s been the theme all year," R.J. Davis said. "Our wins aren’t always blowing out teams by 20 or being up 30. We win the tough, gritty ones and it’s always chippy. I think it prepares us for what’s to come for March."
