Butler linebacker Hawatha Bell picks Heels
Posted Nov 24, 2008
Butler High linebacker Hawatha Bell has committed to North Carolina. Bell, a top 10 recruit in the state, said he chose the Tar Heels over Illinois. "I felt comfortable there," Bell said. "I really liked the coaching staff and just the whole school and the fans. I was just happy up there." Bell said he feels the Tar Heels are close to being a Bowl Championship Series contender and said coaches there told him that he'd have a chance to play all three linebacker positions.
