For the first time in five years, UNC enters the final week of the regular season not fretting about its NCAA Tournament status, but rather sitting atop the ACC standings and in contention for an 18th No. 1 seed. If this feels like a long time coming for the Tar Heels, there’s good reason. This is a veteran Tar Heel squad succeeding in ways that prompt nostalgia.
