Omarion Hampton ranked among college football's top 10 running backs for 2024 by ESPN

North Carolina entered last season wanting to place a bigger emphasis on running the football. Mission accomplished. Omarion Hampton had a breakout sophomore season en route to becoming a Doak Walker Award finalist and Walter Camp first-team All-America. Hampton rushed for 1,504 yards, second on UNC's single-season list, with 15 rushing touchdowns.
