Heels add two football commitments

North Carolina lost a football game last Saturday but gained commitments to its 2009 recruiting class from two SuperPrep high-school All-Americas. Joining UNC's class were Terry Shankle, a 5-11, 170-pound defensive back from Norwood, and Johnnie Farms, a 6-3, 306-pound offensive lineman from Perry, Ga. UNC's class has 20 commitments. The players can sign binding national letters of ntent in February when the NCAA's football signing period will begin.
