UNC wins the ACC outright for the 22nd time (plus 11 seasons sharing the title for 33 total championships). Cormac Ryan's 31 points were the most by a Tar Heel at Duke since Hubert Davis scored 35 on 3/8/1992. UNC is 145-117 against Duke. The Tar Heels have won six of the last nine meetings. It was UNC's 17th ACC win, which tied the ACC record.
