Tar Heels Didn't Want to Share ACC Title, They Wanted it Outright


The idea of sharing the ACC regular-season championship didn’t appeal at all to North Carolina. The Tar Heels thought all season they were the best team in the conference, and the best way to prove it was to win the ACC's 20-game regular season crown outright. That mattered more than anything else Saturday, and the Tar Heels achieved their mission. (Tar Heel Illustrated)
