Butch Davis: Too early to say who has the best program
Posted Nov 25, 2008
Butch Davis isn’t rushing to agree with Tom O’Brien that the Wolfpack is the best football program in the state. State crushed Carolina 41-10 Saturday, and afterward O’Brien said NCSU was the best program in the state “without question.” Davis was asked to respond Monday. “Last Saturday, they were the best football team,” Davis said. “But before anybody anoints themselves, I’d say there probably needs to be some time invested into the programs, and then we’ll see what happens.”
