The UNC softball team outlasted Longwood in a midweek slugfest Wednesday at Anderson Stadium, defeating the Lancers 11-9 (Highlights). With the win, the Tar Heels (25-13, 6-9 ACC) improve to 19-6 at home. Isabela Emerling led Carolina with a career-best three hits, tallying five RBI for the third time this season and slugging her 13th home run. (GoHeels.com)
