Danny Green goes off in Heels’ blowout
Posted Dec 1, 2008
How do you make up for a meager first-half stat line of zero points, two rebounds and three fouls? Danny Green’s remedy Sunday was to turn up the heat. With top-ranked North Carolina already wailing on UNC-Asheville, Green opened the second half with a 3-pointer from the wing. Two minutes later he hit another 3. And then another after that. Over a 9-minute span, North Carolina’s forward buried six consecutive 3-pointers.
