Linebacker Power Echols Ramping Up Vocal Leadership For Tar Heels Defense

When asked on Thursday who the voice of this year's defense was, new UNC defensive coordinator Geoff Collins didn't hesitate to say "Power Echols." Echols enters his fourth year with the program with 40 games of college football experience. With Cedric Gray, who served as the defense's loudest voice, now gone, Echols has quickly assumed that role.
