Over the years, I’ve grown comfortable with the notion that Kentucky basketball, while still of vital importance to its adherents around the state, just isn’t what it once was. Fans still loved the Wildcats, and supported them like few other fan bases. But the fun wasn’t quite what it used to be.Everything felt more corporate and gray. Then Sunday happened. (WDRB)
