Sources: UNC Football adding former FCS special teams coordinator Nick Newsome


Nick Newsome, who has previous ACC experience from time at Georgia Tech and also learned under FCS coaching veteran Jason Simpson at UT Martin, is joining the staff at North Carolina, per sources. Newsome is set to join 's Tar Heels as an analyst; specifically, Newsome is going to work with UNC's defensive backs, sources report. (Football Scoop)
