Cal guard Rodney Brown Jr. committed to Virginia Tech. He has three years of eligibility remaining. Brown is the third transfer portal addition for the Hokies this offseason, joining UTSA guard Jordan Ivy-Curry and Charleston forward Ben Burnham..The 6-foot-6, 180-pound shooting guard played in all 32 games for the Golden Bears as a freshman in 2023-24.
