Tar Heels plan on soaking in Final Four atmosphere
Posted Dec 3, 2008
uring a road trip to Georgia Tech in 2007, North Carolina men's basketball coach Roy Williams made it a point to drive past the Georgia Dome, site of that season's Final Four. "I said ‘There's where they're playing the Final Four,'" said Williams, whose team was knocked out in the regional final that season. "Well, we didn't make it, so I'm never doing that again." The Tar Heels will get another chance to get an early look at a Final Four site tonight.
