Posted Dec 3, 2008
Students enrolled in UNC's Exercise & Sport Science course "The Fundamentals of Sport Marketing" have organized a benefit golf tournament on April 15, 2009 entitled "Tee Off for Tar Heels." Every aspect of the golf tournament--from sales to advertising to sponsorship--will be orchestrated solely by the students. Football players Richard Quinn and Kendric Burney are enrolled in the class this semester and have helped start the tournament.
