The eighth week of the 2024 National Women's Soccer League season was highlighted by Paige Nielsen scoring the game-winning goal for the Houston Dash against her former team, Angel City FC. Prior to Sunday's game against the Chicago Red Stars, Ally Sentnor had played every minute of the season for the Utah Royals, the only NWSL rookie to do so.
