The ninth week of the 2024 National Women's Soccer League season was highlighted by Brianna Pinto recording the game-winning assist for North Carolina Courage. Also of note for the professional Tar Heels – Lotte Wubben-Moy, center back for Arsenal, was named the 2023-24 Player of the Season. Her teammate, forward Alessia Russo, was voted third.
