NC State star DJ Burns Jr. drops 45 pounds to enhance NBA draft hope


One of the breakout stars of March Madness is shedding the pounds to keep his NBA Draft hopes alive. NC State center DJ Burns Jr. told The Athletic’s Shams Charania that he “lost 45 pounds in the last six and a half weeks.” Burns’ slim down comes after he averaged 12.9 points, 4 rebounds, and 2.9 assists as a senior during the regular season.
