Remembering Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, UNC alum Edwin Yoder
Posted Jun 2, 2024
Edwin Yoder lived his life devoted to the humanities. He attended UNC (or "Chapel Hill," as he called it), where he majored in English and served as co-editor of the DTH. He credited his writing professor, Phillips Russell, with instilling in him a commitment to clear and concise writing. Most momentously, he met his future wife, Mary Jane Warwick, in a poetry class.
