Samford junior shooting guard A.J. Staton-McCray is joining the Miami Hurricanes. Staton-McCray was an All-Southern Conference Third Team selection this past season, averaging a career-high 11.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.6 steals in 31 games, 27 starts for the Bulldogs, who went 29-6 and won the Southern Conference Tournament.
