North Carolina Men's Golf Clinch Third-Place Finish At ACC Championship


After firing a nine-under-par 279 in the final round, the North Carolina men's golf team moved up two spots to clinch a third-place finish at the ACC Championship with an 18-under-par 846 total. Chase MacFarland, a junior of Savannah, Ga., hit a stride with eight birdies and three bogeys, bringing him to nine-under-par 207. His performance in the final round was enough to move him up four spots into second place. (Tar Heel Blue)
