Tar Heels impress West Virginia’s Stewart

Posted Dec 8, 2008
West Virginia head coach Bill Stewart said Sunday night that he was very impressed when he saw on television North Carolina crush Rutgers 44-12 in a road game on Sept. 11. WVU is going to play the Tar Heels in the Meineke Car Care Bowl on Saturday, Dec. 27, at Charlotte, N.C. Each team has an 8-4 record for the regular season. “We were very fortunate to beat Rutgers 24-17 (on Oct. 4), and North Carolina totally dismantled Rutgers." (Times West Virginian)
