Heels won't be home for Christmas
Posted Dec 9, 2008
The Tar Heels may not spend Christmas at home this year, but they’ll be close by in Charlotte. On December 27, the UNC football team will play West Virginia in the Meineke Car Care Bowl – the team’s first bowl game since 2004. “Our motto was, ‘We don’t want to be home for Christmas,’” junior defensive end E.J. Wilson said. “Of course you want to be home with your family, but we don’t want to be sitting around watching these other teams play like we did last year."
