Deunta Williams Happy Tar Heels In A Bowl
Posted Dec 9, 2008
Deunta Williams spent last winter's bowl season dodging the television. The UNC safety said he caught glimpses of a few bowl games, but he couldn't bring himself to sit down and watch them. "I'm a competitor. When you don't win at something, it's like watching the bowl game is rubbing it in your face." This time around, he won't have that problem as Williams and his Tar Heels drew a bid to Charlotte's Meineke Car Care Bowl on Dec. 27.
