We now know what Steve Spurrier would have been if he'd been born 150 years ago. Snake-oil salesman. A South Carolina recruit named Johnnie Farms switched his commitment to North Carolina partly because he felt he could get a better education at the ACC school. Not so fast, Spurrier told Farms. South Carolina can compete with North Carolina academically. Altogether now: Ha, ha, ha, ha.
