2026 Charlotte Quarterback Zaid Lott Announces Commitment To UNC

For the second straight summer, North Carolina has secured a quarterback to launch the coming class: Zaid Lott announced his commitment to the Tar Heels on Monday. Almost exactly a year ago, UNC picked up a commitment from 4-star quarterback Bryce Baker. Now Lott, from Charlotte Providence Day School, is commitment No. 1 for the Tar Heels in 2026.
