Basketball recruiting pioneer, UNC grad Brick Oettinger passes away


We are heartbroken to share Brick Oettinger passed away. A pioneer in basketball recruiting and a University of North Carolina alum, Oettinger was a staple in the earliest iteration of ‘The ACC Sports Journal’: ‘The PooP Sheet.’ To have a better understanding of just how special he was, we courage you to read this tribute written by David Glenn in 2022.
