What do computer rankings say about the prospects for the UNC men’s basketball team? Bart Torvik, whose rankings are one of the most respected computer rankings, has the Tar Heels moving up from No. 9 in last season’s final ranking to No. 6 in his 2024-25 preseason projection. The Tar Heels and Duke (No. 2) are the only ACC teams in his top 20.
