UNC Football Opener at Minnesota an Opportunity for Tar Heels to Continue New Course

The Tar Heels are 3-1 in power-conference openers in second tenure at UNC. Not so coincidentally, his last two teams in stint number one also opened their seasons with wins over Clemson (45-0) and Indiana (23-6) at home. So, he is 5-1 in his last six openers versus programs from power conferences. This will be tested Aug. 29 at Minnesota. (Tar Heel Illustrated)
