Pulse of the Fan Base: UNC
Posted Dec 13, 2008
Every coach, no matter how successful, is going to have critics. Roy Williams isn’t immune to this among the UNC fan base. Some of that is rooted in his passing up the UNC job the first time around. Those scars were far more visible after the lifeless opening against Kansas in the Final Four and Williams’ infamous sticker two days later. But as for real concern about Williams’ in-game coaching in the postseason? That hasn’t reared its head, at least not what I’ve seen to this point early in the season.
