Boston College basketball lands 4-star shooting guard Akbar Waheed


Akbar Waheed III, a four-star basketball recruit in the class of 2025, committed to Boston College on Tuesday. The 6-5 shooting guard from Rockville (Md.) chose the Eagles over Xavier, Florida State, Saint Louis, and Iowa. Waheed's father Akbar Waheed was an assistant at Boston College from 2010 to 2014 with plenty of family ties to the area. (247 Sports)
