Lanie Grant scores 17, swipes 3 of USA’s 30 steals in 81-point romp over Croatia


UNC freshman guard scored 11 of her 17 points in the second quarter and had three of the USA’s record 30 steals as the Americans rolled to a 123-42 victory Tuesday over Croatia at the FIBA U17 Women’s World Cup. With UNC coach in the stands in Irapuato, Mexico, Grant started and had her best tournament game. (Tar Heel Tribune)
