The Olympic lineage of former UNC field hockey star Ashley Hoffman


enjoyed a storied field hockey career at UNC. As team captain in 2018, she led the Tar Heels to an NCAA title and the third undefeated season in program history. She was the 2018 Honda Sport Award winner and played for the U.S. National Team. Now she's competing in her first Olympics, with field hockey competition starting Saturday. (GoHeels.com)
