Tyler Hansbrough on cusp of record
Posted Dec 15, 2008
Tyler Hansbrough is prepared to charge into UNC basketball history Thursday night, after hobbling through the first month of the season because of leg injuries. Hansbrough needs nine points to become UNC's career-leading scorer. If he does get the points in a game against Evansville, the record will change for only the second time in 51 years. "It is a big deal to me but also I think it'll mean more to me once the season is over and I look back," Hansbrough said.
